  • Slower shutter speed or brighter lights?

    This has probably been asked before, but which would render quicker: having bright vray lights in your scene and a 'normal' vraycamera speed/iso combination or relatively dim lights and a slower shutter speed/higher iso setting?

    definitely the second.
    If what happens for sun and sky happens for normal lights.
    EDIT: i talk rubbish, as per usual.
    It's a lot faster to actually dim the diffuse coefficient on materials, whatever the lighting/exposure is

    Have a look at the tutorial on sun sky and physcam to check for yourself...
