  • Panorama Exporter Batch Render?

I'm rendering out spherical panoramic images through the Panoramic Export utility plugin built into Max 8. Does anyone know if it is possible to batch render multiple files, or use Backburner for multiple renders?

I've been down that road before and decided it was better to not use the panorama exporter, and to just use Vray's 360 degree spherical lense in the Camera Render Properties to create an equirectangular image. Then you can use a program like Pano2QTVR which is free (The last I checked) to compile the image into a QTVR having complete control over the compresssion quality, movie output size and even add hotspots to.

This is what you may need:

I don't know if it still work with new vray versions - let me know , maybe it's easy to fix. There is also a version of this exporter which outputs qtvrs with all hotspots, but it's broken with the new pano2qtvr versions.

Thanks Dshaga. This does look like a good script. When I get a chance I'll check it out more in depth. I'm using Tourweaver right now for my interactive pano display, and it's working pretty well.

Thanks again MegaPixel, my pano renderings are coming out just right using the VRay spherical camera, and I can batch render them.
