is it possible? as far as i know. physical cam catches more light as it gets closer to the light source. how can irradiance map handle this phenomenon?
The camera shouldn't make a difference at all - the lighting in the scene is being determined by the brightness of the lights in the scene, the camera is merely taking an exposure of what's in front of it. As far as I'm aware, the irmap only uses the field of view of the camera to get a direction and area to start shooting rays into - it doesn't bother with any kind of exposure or motion blur information.
