  • vray material - invisible ?

    Hello friends !

I am looking for a solution in an animation.
The teapot should get invisible. Invisible starting from the top and goes to the bottom.

Hmm, is there any way to do that very accurate ?

    thx for every littel help,
    bernhard

You can probably map the opacity of the V-Ray material. However this also means that you will be able so see the back side and inside of the teapot during the transition, which may or may not be what you want. A better way might be to make the transition in a compositing program (you can probably use a layered fog or something to produce the blend mask).

    Best regards,
    Vlado

You could animated a slice modifier and set it to remove the top half.

      Might work.
