All Vray Materials in Material editor...MAX 9

I had set MAX 8 so that when creating a new scene all of the materials in the material editor were VrayMats. I have now upgraded to MAX 9 and can not seem to get it work as it did before. I was following an old tutorial from another Vrayinfo site and it was referencing a really old version of MAX. Can we not set it up like this anymore? How do you tell MAX what .MAT to load as the default material editor? Thanks all...

Just setup max how you want.. vraymaterials...vray..etc.. and save the empty scene as maxstart.max in the scenes folder.
It will load that on start up giving you what ever preset you want
