vray and quad core

Is anyone using vray and the new quad core xeon? Right now I have the old dual chip xeon 3.6 but I heard the quad core is really fast for rendering. Do you need 2 chips or just one? I was just curious if its worth spending the money or if Im good with mine.

in the latest benchmark thread I posted an excel spreadsheet off all the benchmarks to date, with all their times and the cpu's involved. Will be rather handy for you to decide on what to get
