  • Saving colour correction curve

Does anybody know how I can convert my 'bezier curve file' (saved from the vfb) to a photoshop.curvesfile (*.acv)? It would be really nice to be able to use the exact curve from the vfb in photoshop/afx. I find the photoshop/afx curve creation tools to be somewhat sh*te!

The vfb and acv files seem to be either binary or encoded so unfortunately they aren't easily gotten at without knowing how the data is stored or using a hex editor - unless there's a way to convert them into something in plain text you're going to know the spec of the format to do a conversion.

Thanks joconnell, I had a horrible feeling it was going to be rather complicated...

Looks like that's the only solution! What a pain

There is a way to save the LUT curve information in an EXR... I know combustion supports this... I asked for a way of saving out the VFB curve in a wishlist item a while back... I don't think there are any good solutions yet.
