  • Pflow / Motion Blur / XP64

    I have searched around the forums on a few occasions trying to figure out if it is possible to combine Pflow particles with Vray motion blur on XP64 and haven't come across a definite answer... is it possible? I know there are issues with deforming meshes in the case of a blob mesh, but shouldn't it work with regular particles? There is nothing fancy going on; just a regular flow using a box as instanced geometry.

    I'm using Vray 1.5 RC3, XP64 and Max 9.

    everything works as it should.
    But, in most cases you are better off rendering out the velocity channel and comping the motion blur after to save render time

      Very odd... I built my scene in Max9/64 and render out an image with motion blur turned on for the particles and I get a "(n) has changing topology. can't motion blur mesh deformations". Yet when I open the exact same scene in Max9/32 the motion blur works fine. Anyone care to venture a guess why this might be happening?
