  • LWF .255 method and new sun/sky/camera model

I just got my dongle today and started playing around the current 1.5 release of VRay. I've been using Lele's .255 LWF method for a while now and have been delighted with the workflow and results. However the sun/sky/camera model in the current build of VRay seems to throw things off. The scene and background are much brighter. Only using the legacy sun/sky/camera model do I get the results I'm used to. Which is fine, but am I going to be missing something using the legacy model instead of the new model? Or should I get out my calculator and determine the RGB multiplier for the new sun/sky/camera model? Or should I change the ISO?

the new sky is 2x brighter so the ".255" will need to be adjusted, you will need to resample the white plane. Or just adjust it till it looks like the old one and you will have your new factor.
