latest vray

i see that the latest vray upgrade requires a dongle. Does this mean we must purchase the upgrade with dongle or purchase the dongle to be able to use the upgrade or ....?

I have no dongle with my vray. I'm at RC3 level. What's the skinny. No complaints, just would like to know what is required to upgrade.

I suggest you take a look at the stickies.

You are entitled to the same number of dongles as the number of V-Ray licenses that you already have purchased (although you can also get some or all of the licenses on one dongle, if you prefer); the dongles themselves are free, although there may be some shipping & handling fee.

It would be best if you email us at vray@chaosgroup.com or call the office to get more information on how you to receive the dongles.

Percy, the stickies presume you know you are supposed to get a dongle. i had no idea we were to get a free dongle.
