  • "Cores" per License

I wonder how many PCs/License I´m allowed to use when rendering stills and animations (backburner).

when using backburner you are unlimited. BB rendering doesnt need additional licenses. For DR you can use 10 DR slaves per license.

yep, so just to clarify you can have as many cores as you want per machine, but only 10 machines per licence when using DR.
So you cam have 10 single core machines or 10 dual quad core machines.

V-Ray licensing is per machine, regardless of the numbers of processors/cores in it.

One V-Ray license allows you to use the V-Ray in an interactive session on one machine, use up to 10 machines for DR, and any number of machines for network rendering through backburner.

        Best regards,
        Vlado

what i would give to be able to have 10 of those 16 core machines by boxx. but then again i think that inside the 4U case are two computers so in reality i would need 5 of them and each will be 8 cores.
