RC3 with Max8 on Vista 32bit

Hello,

we have some new Render Clients in our network. The clients use Windows Vista (32bit).
We successfully isntalled max8. But VRay 1.5 RC3 did not install. Installation stops with an error.

Is there any chace to install and use RC3 on Vista (with Max 8 )?

Have you tried right clicking the exe and running it as admin?

No I didn't. I am not familiar with Vista. I have never used it before.

We now killed Vista and installed XP instead.

i have to say one thing...i gave vista 64bit a try, installed max, vray, everyting works great so far.....i dont even have any memory issues when rendering the scene ....and if i will i would probably buy more ram
i do though remember, that when i tried installing rc3 on vista bfor, it did not work...vray final does though

The same.

RC doesn't work very well on Vista 32 bits, I don't know on 64.

I tried with Vray 1.50 and on Max 9 with SP2 and all updates on vista 32. It work perfectly. I think even better than XP.
