  • DR vs backburner

Has anyone done any tests to know which one is faster for a hi-res job? I have limited time on a couple jobs (no time to test) and would like to go the right direction! I usually one use backburner for animations. Is it reliable to stitch together all the segments in one file? thanks for any help!

Yeah, I'm doing 2 high res images with backburner right now. Make sure you pre-cal the lighting (IR/LC) and make those files available to all of the backburner computers. Otherwise you'll get some serious banding from each computer doing it's own lighting calc.
