  • How to light RPC Content

    any tips on how to light RPC content such as people using vray sun and sky?

    just make sure you make the rpcs visible to your sun, as they are by default excluded from lights. Haven't tried it with the vray sun, but Im assuming its no different.

      hmm use 3D people instead RPC are not that nice.... for example most of them are shot indoors. therefor the light is totaly wrong when you put them in a image where the lightsource is comming from a different direction.....

        We went with 3d people as well, you can never get the RPC people to look right and they can cause issues with rendering....
        Two heads are better than one ...
        ....but some head is better than none.....

          Hmmm... Don't know about that. we need them to be visible real close to the camera and all the 3d people options look bad up close. RPC also have them animated for animations - can't find anything else that can do that... any suggestions?

            render them in a separate pass and then use After Effects or something similar (Photoshop for stills..) to match the lighting as best you can...
            Two heads are better than one ...
