    Hello Friends !

I try to find out which AA settings for my animation works best, without loosing to much render time, but also, without getting any flickering in the end result.

I use Adaptive subdivision, and I set my minimum rate to 1, max with 3.
The Clr tresh is now a very hot spot, because increasing that value, is hyper sensitive to the render time.

With the custom settings it comes with 0.1. Unfortunately, I have to increase for the animation, because the light would flicker. I didn't have to much time to make more tests, and so I wanted to ask you if someone already made experience with the value 0.05 ?

I think that value would be ok for the render time, increasing that value to 0.005 will be an overkill for my renderings.

So the question is, has someone already made a render with these AA settings and did it work in the final animation without any flickering ?

Also, it would be great if someone made some experience with the DMC Sampler, if that one works slower or faster in rendering compared to the Adaptive Subdivision.

Thank you very much for every little help,
