Scene crashing, will this help

Hi,

My current scene keeps on crashing when I set LC higher that 400 samples. I suspect that it is due to my limited memory on the machine.

Will it help to have the LC calculation saved to file instead of having it in memory?

400 samples isnt that much... maybe you could share some more info about your scene, renderset, render output etc?

Which V-Ray version is that?

I doubt that it has anything specific to do with the number of light cache samples; rather one of the specific samples beyond the 400-th one causes a problem. Hard to say what it might be though without some more details.

Will update this tomorrow with more details as it now looks like it have nothing to do with LC, but rather the VRay Fur element in the scene.
