  • vrayfur

I am running a dual quad core with 8GB of ram, which seems sufficient, but I can't render a scene with vrayfur. I have about 30' of shore, which is a subdivided mesh, and I have GI turned off of the vrayfur.

Any tips? A simple scene with vrayfur used as tall grass would be groovy, or a simple explanation would work as well.

You can try to increase the dynamic memory limit for the raycaster and see if it helps; also how subdivided is the shore mesh?

Ok; so what kind of issue happens then - rendering is very slow, or it crashes half-way through it or something else?

        Best regards,

            vray fur

I checked my resources and 3 of my processors are only running 25% and I have 3 available GB of ram. Why is vrayfur taking so long to process?

              vray fur

It seems I don't have control over my vrayfur count. I can change it per face or per object, but nothing changes. I increase and decrease the count, but nothing,...
