  • vray sky + cam match image

is there a way to have an image from a camera that i am matching up a model to and have the vray sky as my illumination also...all in one pass, or do i need to do a composite in pshop?

    thanks

It does that automatically if you have GI enabled. Just drop your background image into the environment slot. The lighting probably won't look very realistic if its not HDR.

i thought vray sky needed to be in the environment slot where the background image is if the vray sky was to be considered in the GI....am i wrong?

you can separate them by putting the vrsky in the GI environment slot under the vray render settings...
