  • Orthographic views

    Hello all,

Is there a way to produce an orthographic view (see sample) using vray physical camera or some other method? The problem is, I’m using Vray sky and sun and without the camera, I can not achieve the proper exposure.

The sample was done some time ago before I started to use Vray sky, sun, cam and gamma correction.

    Thanks,

    Scott.

Your only option for the time being is to adjust the sun/sky multipliers and not use exposure or try to match the exposure with color mapping. I believe Vlado said he was looking at adding orthographic as an option for the physcam.

There is another way, but I would consider it a hack.

Pull the camera back (way, way back) an use a very narrow lens. That produces an effect very similar to an orthographic view.
