I've got some question about the new features in this version (and hope to get Sp2 sonner )

(*) Added "Soften" parameter to the BRDF parameters of VRayMtl

What is it ???

(*) VRayProxy objects have a new "point" display mode

Does it allow to see VRay Proxies as point helper ?

The soften parameter is used to control the abrupt cut-off of Blinn and Ward hilights when the surface turns away from the light with low glossiness values. I believe there is a similar option in the Standard material.

For the point mode, the entire proxy is displayed as a single point, to ease the viewports a little bit in case you have many of these.
