    im goign to try that.. but are u applyign the material with the white vrap colour map to only one surface of the glass?

    say the backside and then the other faces are clear glass?

      I'm applying it to all sides (aka a box). From my experieince vray doesn't like to have single plane refracting materials (I remember vlado mentioning something about vray knowing it's inside a refracting volume). I know single plane refractors work, I just avoid them.

        ahh i see, yes i always construct my glass planes as a closed box pane of glass having six sides however i was trying to model the pane of glass by applyign clear glass material to the sides and the front face then applying a sanblasted material to the backside of the glass as we have it here in our office and that is how they would like it to appear but it just doesnt seem to look anywhere neaer the samples
