    Hello,

    I wonder which is the best way to make glas objects invisible (in animation).

    I have tried the opacity channel (with animated VrayColor). But this causes some strange jittering/noise in the glas material.

    Changing refraction, relfection, IOR and fog does not seem to be the "official" way.

    Making the object invisible (object settings) looks best I think. But render times are going up then!

    Best way is to render two versions of your scene - one with the glass, and one without, and then fade between them in a compositing application.

      Ok. Thank you Vlado!
      That's the way I did it in the last projects. I just thought there might be a more "native" way to do the trick.
      But no problem - that solution works indeed very well
