  • Materials and Scale

Hey people, for the past year or so since working directly between Revit and Max, I have noticed when an object comes in from Revit as a CAD link materials in Max do not have proper scale to them. Even if the units are the same in both platforms, I always seem to be scaling down my materials to fit on the CAD import from Revit. The model is drawn correctly to scale and when it imports it has the correct measurements as well in Max. Am I missing a check box somewhere that changes the Revit objects to fit at the max scaling for materials. I can import a wall for example which is 10' tall and apply a texture to it and will have to drop the scale down to like .01 or .001, Draw the same size wall in Max and material at it's normal 1.0 scale shows fine.

Any ideas on the interoperability between the two that I do not understand with regards to materials.

    Check with Autodesk?

Did you check with the autodesk guys they should provide the platform
support or solution for this ... they sold you the software and it should
    work.
