  • Pontiac Making off video...

The guys at Leo Burnett (the ad agency) put together this making of video of the SpyHunter spot we did over at Sway. You guys get to see the car simulator.

You can do this with the craft director tools and any standard game inputs. It's a lot better than it sounds, and if you ever need a car as a feature in a cg spot its so useful you'll wonder why you ever bothered to do one without it.

This can be done with mad car also http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=571932

            Love the spot btw

Sounds like the gear heads have quite the insight into the studio world.

That's a cool making of, not only for what we can see happening there - which is a lot - , but also cos it got great editing.

I can't really talk about all the things that the Sway Drive-a-tron simulator has, but if I could, I would challenge any other one to match it.

But as an example, I can mention (since it was mentioned in other press releases) that for this spot we added ABS brakes and traction control. So wheel and petals is the LEAST of the features.

I'd love to see Live for Speed's sim incorporated into a driving sim. It's the best i saw so far. Includes Tyre deformation (in tight turns and of course due to weight), Crazy Aerodynamics and all bells and whistles i've ever heard of

Good Job and great Making of Chris! Keep em coming!

                    Regards,
                    Thorsten
