  • vertical shift and bkg...

I'm trying to use an background map (360 pict of sky in 'spherical environ' mode) in the environment slot with some vertical shift from a vrayphysicalcam. The vertical shift only seems to 'shift' the geometry. Is there any way for the vertical shift to also 'shift' the background image? (I'm trying to keep the horizons lined up).

    Thanks,
    Ryan

You can do it in photoshop. Filter -> Distort -> Lens Correction.

You could probably just map it to a self illuminated sphere (no shadows, invisible to GI as well).

Also you could map it to a sphere in the scene.
