  • Blotchy walls, Interior

I have some problems with blotchy walls on an interior shot I´m doing. I´m using adaptive subdivs 0, 3 as AA sampler, high settings 70, 35 for the irr map and default brutal force. There are 2 area lights in the scene, both 8 subdivs, plus environment skylight override. The original image was A3 300 dpi, and I´ve added a minor contrast curve in PS on the attached image.

looks like possible a network rendering issue, are they the only isolated buckets on the image that come back pixelated?... are you using Backburner or DR spawner?

The pixelated buckets are just unfinished, sry about that. And yes, I´m using backburner.

Switch to Light Cache for 2nd bounce, its faster than brute force for second bounce in almost all situations. If the area lights are calculated with Irradiance map, increase their subdivs to 32-64.
