Film gate value.

Hi! Can somebody explain how to set up value of film gate for PhysicalCamera?
I have Sony Alpha 100 DSLR. How can I find out value of film gate for this
particular camera?

there is a tool out there that is called "barnack" it gives you all the info for a lot of common type cams, that might be what you are looking for.

I was wondering about this too....i'm using a 50mm lens and wanted to know if i should be changing the film gate to something other then the default value.

Only thing is i'm not basing it on a camera....50mm is the closest to what the human eyes see. So not sure what to do....
