win xp pro sp3 ?

Hi, does anyone know about Windows XP Pro SP3? My autoupdate is asking if I want to install it. Should I do it? Any ramifications for Max/Vray? Thanks.

2 all : but i think this is based on machine if is amd i doubt sp3 will run properly ....

imo there is no reason to install sp3 other then security fixes and security "features" which make me want to hurl....
