Subbmitting my Renderjobs to farm with no dongle?

Hi there,

Some friends of us have a rendefarm with maya installed which they told us that we can use. So i need to install max and vray by myself. So now my question is, does the farm need to have a dongle or will the job be flagged as valid license job submission?The farm isn't connected by vpn only by vnc. I read it somewhere but i am not sure of it.

the farm will have to see a machine with a dongle attached
