  • MtlId

Hi, I want to use the MtlId to be able to make selection of different part of my model in Photoshop cause all the part of my object are attach in a single object.

And the MtlId doesn't work at all, the image still black.

    How can I use this?

    Thanks

      Hi 3LP,

It doesn't work. OUtput image still black with an alpha channel,

Maybe I don't know how it work.

I hade MultiMatteElement and vray_MtlId to the list and save the image true the Vray: Frame Buffer tab

Vray_WireColor work fine but not usefull for me.

Well if you want to save Material IDs you need to add material IDs. Multimatte by default expects GBuffer IDs to be set on the objects.

When I use MultiMatteElement (for exemple in your scene) 3ds max crash.

(I test it on Vray 1.5 Sp2 Demo)
