hi, i work on a 64-bit workstation for a while. i know that i cant mix 32- bit and 64-bit workstatins for dr.
my questions: is it possible to execute a 3ds max-file on a 64-bit machine which formerly was edited on a 32-bit machine? and what about reworking files from a 64-bit computer on a 32-bit computer?
    thx

Yes, you can edit a Max file on both 32 and 64 bit OSs without causing any problems with compatibility.

The only issues I've heard about was NURBS created in 32 bit don't display the same in 64 bit Max and procedural textures don't match.

I used to have problems with this. My renderfarm is now xp 64 bit, no problems anymore. But I personaly don't think it was vista only related...
