  • Preference in your studio setups?

This is just for my own curiosity...

Is there a preferred method to create a studio setup? Meaning modeling a white blanket type setup with lights or using hdr images?

I'm sure composting can direct which way to go but I mean in just personal projects.

I like to borrow corners from old scenes to set things up in. Means i don't have to worry about anything else as the original scene would have been perfected.

      Makes sense...

I just looked at your site. I really like 4th, 5th and 6th images in your exterior gallery. Were those created with a V-Ray sun and a simple sky image?

I do this too, kindof - I have 3 scenes saved out that I use to set up materials in. One an external with fairly soft light (kind of cloudy), one an external in strong sunlight, and an empty internal of an apartment.
