I'm currently working on some light studies in plan for a competition we're doing.
My problem is as follows:
I've got a building in two plans. one plan is visible in both renders though partly covered by a mezzanine in one render.
My problem is when I render the plans out the render where the mezzanine is above camera clipping (ie not rendered) the floor is rendered darker compared to the render where camera clipping is moved above the mezzanine.
I render with camera clipping, orthogonal camera. I need to render floor 1 and 2 of the building to study light distribution and intensity. My lights: direct target as sun and environment skylight, color mapping: linear multiply.
1st pass: irradience map - default settings
2nd pass: light cache - default settings
The renders are remarkably different in both light intensity and hue. I suspect color mapping is to blame without actually knowing it, as it seems the light is being scaled? Is there a way to get a non-biased output?
venligst / kind regards
