    Do Normal maps work with a Vray material on SP2? I seem to produce the effect with mr materials fine but with a normal map added to the bump with both a bump and normal image, I do not seem to get any change in appearance.

    It works with V-Ray to the extent that it works with the scanline renderer; I haven't seen any problems with that.

      Don't forget to load your normal map image in with a custom gamma of 1.0, rather than the default 2.2 if you're using that workflow - otherwise it will look... odd.

        Hey, what do you mean by "odd"?.

        I've been trying to use normal maps with a reflexive vraymat and it looks badly shaded, usually much darker or completely black in areas it should be reflecting normally. I've tried your custom 1.0 and seems to change. Do you know about the parameters you should be using under "normal bump": flip red, flip green, tangent, local, screen, etc?
