    Thanks for the links. I do use Polyboost, but I had no idea that's what's being integrated into Max 2010. The other pages I've seen before... still have no idea which to choose...

      i am staying with proper MAX, as we plan to do some anims too....anyway, i am buying subscription and as far as ve read, the subscription customers and switch from max to max design at any time...

        hmm based on my knowledge as i subcription costumer i can choose for this time what i want to stay with , now i have max2009design and by my opinion i can choose full 3dmax but now i dont know if full max2009 or new comming 2010 ...... thats the question ....

          Nope. You must choose one or the other very soon. You should have received an email from Autodesk about that.

            so vlado it is between full max and max design only in generall or this choose is for comming max2010 product ??

              Their exact words were:

              This year, we’re giving Subscription members a limited, one-time opportunity, to cross-grade licenses from Autodesk 3ds Max to Autodesk 3ds Max Design (or vice versa) at no additional charge.
              They almost made it sound as if they were doing us a damn favor!

                to clarify. in 2009 you could use either version and switch between them ANY time. With 2010 you need to choose which one you want to order, then you stuck with it.

                    Cloth behaviours like that are already implemented in the mirrors edge game...wont be long before its here
