  • Vray Render Elements

    Hi guys

I'm starting to get myself into this whole render passes/composition thing, but I'm struggling:

If I render a single image and I add a Vray-Shadow element everyting works fine, but as soon as I have multiple views to render (backburner), the Vray-Shadow image saves over itself - what exactly is the workflow? This is also a question I have when doing an animation

    I save to jpeg.

    Please help!

If you render multiple views you have to change the output path for the render elements before you submit the jobs to backburner, just changing the cam and hit render doesnt work, you rendered image would be overwritten too. So each time you put a single view into backburner change the output path for the rendering and the render elements (a very fast way of doing it is through the asset tracking (shift+t), simply mark all the elements and render output, right click, set path). When rendering animations it will automatically save incremental like VRayShadow0001, VRayShadow0002....but you would have to change the pathes too if you are going to submit more then one camera into backburner.
