      • I am, also tested at home and can't get it to work. It's suppose to show up in the create panel / vray, right?

        • Do you get some error message when launching max?

It should create BercnMetaball object under VRay category, the same place VRayPlane and Proxy is.

          • This looks amazing. Wich versions should it run under? Is it only 64 bit?

            • Error code 14001...

After trying it with 64 bit versions of both 2010 and 2009.
Finally got it to work with 32 bit version of 2010.

              oh pew.

We got this same problem here last year. Jerry kindly helped us pointing to this microsoft fix in visul studio:

After this it worked great, Jerry did a great job, it's the best mesher for max/vray IMHO.

                    Regards.

                            • Is there any way to map a texture onto this? It looks extremely useful as a produral modelling tool (like vrayISO) but I miss mapping...
Maybe if I could project the mapping/coordinates from another object onto it. Any tricks I might have missed?

                              • Unfortunately there is no way to map textures, well you can use world or object coordinates but no other mapping type. You'd need a fast function to find the closest point from surface to the mesh, then it could be done. But thats a lot of work. You could ask around to see if anybody is interested in coding it. I don't have the time.

There'll be a small update in a month or so that should fix all problems there are with Vray SP5.
