  • vrimg to exr problem

    Hello,

I have big problem with vrimg to exr.
Im rendering scene with ground matte object with alpha set to 0(zero) and backround image and one objectX standing on the ground with alpha 1.Im using it for composition object to photo.

Now when Im opening exr in photoshop it have only objectX in layer without backgroud with strange edges(white pixels). So now I have to manually clear all these pixels out.

When I set alpha for ground to 1 exr file is ok. So it seems that vrimgtoexr is not able to convert flattened rgb image(all pixels) to exr. Its always converting only alpha signed pixels.

How can I achieve to have complete rgb flattened image in exr file.

    Thanks for help
    R.B.

vrimg2exr converts all pixels, whether they have alpha or not; it is photoshop that discards the pixels with zero alpha.

    Best regards,
    Vlado
I only act like I know everything, Rogers.
