I am dealing with extremely large meshes converting from obj to vrmesh and I noticed that once it reaches to 4 gb...it starts to flush memory while saving. Is ply2vrmesh not 64 bit?

Yes, 64-bit versions of V-Ray include 64-bit versions of all tools.
