  • Hideen Function - Render History - (francescolegrenzi) [help]

I was following a link from a sig of "cecofuli" to "frances colegrenzi" Website and saw this amazing little trick to have render history right into the frame buffer..

OMG I thought.. as the render frame buffer from Maya with its saved frames and switch back and forth is like my most wanted general feature in max.. I miss it so much.

I know this is not exactly the same but still pretty darn cool.

Anyway I can not seam to get it to work...

Can anyone translate this page into English for me? I must have some step wrong.
    History function - HIDDEN feature! @ francescolegrenzi.com

    Thanks in advance

It's pretty easy to follow from the screenshots! I wonder why this is not enabled by default?

you only need to add a window's system variable to make it visible in the vray vfb. go to system properties>advanced>environment variables and add a new one:
      VRAY_VFB_HISTORY
      value: 1

not sure, but I think I remember vlado saying it wasn't a tested enough feature, so that's why it didn't officially make it to the vfb.

Here's a link to an English page on how to activate this feature:
