how do i use skylight portal?

Hey flipside would you mind sharing that scene it would really help me understand the skylight portal as all I get is a darkned room.

I don't have the scene anymore, but it's quite easy:

-make a room with holes
-put vray lights in the holes and set them to 'skylight portal'
-enable GI like with any other image
-turn on skylight (this is pretty important of course...) in environment settings

That's all you have to do to have a non black image
