Hi there,
I am on a project here where the client ask me to do a car model to customize it in real time.
The problem is that they will use it on the "Microsoft surface" and the only possibility to put 3D on that thing, is to export the model to 3ds and then to XAML. This format really c**t. It doesn't support reflexion, refraction, and for transparency it's only if you carefully put the object in the good order. The best thing I can do is to bake to texture the light without reflexion to have at least something, otherwise it's like a self illum texture. If you people had allready exeprienced something similar, advise could be welcome ;o)
But that's one thing, my real question is to know if there is a program that allow me to export my model with vray textures on it so that it could be viewed realtime with the vray shaders. No mather if I have to bake to texture. The object doesn't have to be animated or to move, only beeing viewed all around it.
I allready saw some projects that where made with 3Dpdf :
http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...ighlight=3dpdf
http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...ighlight=3dpdf
Are there other solution to do the same, that could handel more poly, be faster when you move around in the scene ? may be a standalone ?
Best regards
