what's the deal with the demo password?

I have been trying, for several months, to get a response from the Vray homepage. I apply for the password to download the demo/free versions and never receive a response.

Are they no longer processing requests, or what?

What's the point of hiding the demo behind a password anyway? It's a DEMO...

The demo requests are handled automatically, so the password should be sent to you immediately.

Maybe your server is doing something weird with email from Chaos.
Try submitting with a different email address and see if that helps.

I downloaded the new demo today and had no problem with passwords wierd

Cobalt, please send us an email to vray@chaosgroup.com and we'll generate a password for you. Sometimes the automatic email sent by the server gets lost on its way...
