  • This script is so good...

...it should be part of VRay!

I would urge everyone to give it a go, it's saved me hours/days by now.

I agree that is an awesome script that saves soooo much time & should be a part of everyone's toolset.

But I don't understand the need to duplicate something that already exists????
I think the Vray guys are much better spending their time working on stuff that doesn't exist!

      Cheers

Thanks for the post. I do have a question though. After restarting Max, how do I get the script to work? Does it work as part of the toolbar or as a script? I'm having a tough time loading it as a script and since it's part of the "Customize User Interface" it seems like I should just drag it to the toolbar. Thanks.

Did you read the directions? You need to put it in your macroscripts folder.

Thanks for the reply Percy. I did indeed put it into the macroscripts folder. I can see it in the "Customize User Interface" dropdown. My question is....do I access it as a MaxScript in my control panel on the right of my screen or is it something I drag to the toolbar and use as a tool set? Thanks.

you need to find it and drag it to a toolbar.

A better script that i have found it the "parametermanager" from Soulburnscripts as it does loads more.

It allows you to adjust parameters in the modifier stack, materials and object parameters of selected objects.

So for example you can grab a load of spheres and change the reflectivity and then change all there radius and then adjust there mapping.

                    http://www.neilblevins.com/soulburns...urnscripts.htm

Check it out and see what you think.
