    i dont think you can export vray proxy of an object with changing mesh. i tried with that ivy generator and it didnt work

      Ahh.. thanks mate for that info.
      So then, what do you think would be an optimal way of doing what I want to do?
      Create one fountain using particle flow, and re use that across a site... a hundrer times?

        It depends slighly on how you are gonna render it. If you render it as a mesh you can create Mesher compound object and instance that around.

        If you render it as a blobmesh you have to use Mesher on the blobmesh and then instance it around. However instead of using the blobmesh I suggest you try using my metaballs plugin for vray which might render fast enough and you avoid all problems with quality settings of blobmesh. http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...ad.php?t=45994 The downside is that you have to change your pflow so it creates particles for each fountain, because instancing doesn't work in this case.
