  • Possible to render a moving object animation with LC

    Hi guys,

I have a scene where there is only one object so there is no reflective GI in the scene. Do you think it would be possible to render the animation, where the object is flexing slightly, with IRR maps and LC for a simple scene like this ?
    Regards

You can also untick Generate and Receive GI and untick GI and Refractive GI in the VRay properties for the moving object. Leave Reflective GI ticked or the object will not show in reflections - in your case you can untick this also.

When pre calculating, tick Use Camera Path in both the Irrad map and LC. Render every frame and save the maps just as you would normally then render from file using the saved irrad and LC maps.

To make it quicker (only if the moving object isn't near the camera) you can render every 10th frame or lower if the object moves quickly.

If you have your settings optimised correctly, this process is beyond quick.
