  • Does Vray mimic real life glass absorption like Brazil?

I was looking at Brazil renderings the other day and they were talking about absorption in the Brazil glass material making the thicker glass in an object darker than the thinner parts as in real life. Is this implemented in Vray as well? Just wondering really.

    regards,

    Marc

Yep. This is what the Fog parameters in the VRay material do.

Yes it does, it's just called something else.

      To get this:

Use these settings (old VRay build settings, but they still work):

Just take into consideration that the density of the fog depends of the scene scale....
