    what are the advantes of the two new CIE skys? anybody know?

    You can adjust the intensity of them very easily (without touching the vray sun)... that's the only thing that I've found. I also guess you couldn't achieve an overcast sky with the previous version(?).

      hm yes. you are right. that seems the only different.
      btw, the overcast is nice but creates sharp and solid
      shadows - not my taste.

        You are supposed to turn off the sun when using an overcast sky, or at least reduce its intensity a lot

            Adjust SUN INTENSITY to .3 [approx]
            Adjust SUN SIZE to somewhere between 3-8 [Depending how soft you want the shadows]

            Now you have a more realistic sun for the cloudy sky!
