  • i need help

    hi there.

i have a problem, is that i can´t do that the zones where the sun hit directly shine stronger than the zones where are the shadows, i´m increasing the first diffuse bounce , and decrease the secondary, but there are not contrast... ...i need help. what others values have i to modify to get a real effect in a building render??.

    thank you.

If you are using a sun system in VRay you have to increase the hotspot size of the directional light in the sun system so that your scene fits inside it. While scanline will illuminate the entire scene with the default size, VRay will only illuminate a small circle the size of the hotspot around the target.

A sun system is a max feature.. Read the max docs.

But I guess that is not what is going on here.
Please post a picture so we can get a better idea of what you mean.
