  • Animatiopn with moving objects

    Hi

I like to make animations, and when nothing has to move I use this setup.

    Test Animation:

Test animation with moving objects, (Iknow it doesn't work with this setup, just for fun)

But when I want to have moving objects, is this the only way to do it?

It looks very complicated for me.

When I render a animation with IR and LC as single frame, I get a lot of flichering even with pretty high settings.....

You might want to try a search..there are quite a lot of previous posts where people have had similar issues...

For a scene like this (exterior, very diffuse lighting, almost no bouncing light), you might even get away without using GI, which would solve all your problems in a snap.

Did you manage to sort out your problem with an animation with moving objects ? I recently did one using high irr settings (high animation) and brute force with samples set to 30. You may want to look at the new ambientlight option to help you out with vraydirt AO.

For this particular scene, just using animated irradiance map and brute force GI should do the trick.
